Annual Spanish Immersion experience

On Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th April Grosvenor’s ever-active Spanish department staged the latest of its annual Immersion experiences when thirty of its most enthusiastic A Level students, from years thirteen and fourteen, gave up the first day-and-half of their Easter holidays to participate in the event.

As part of the experience the pupils were required to speak in Spanish for the entire duration of the event whilst participating in a number of activities, which included: speaking workshops, songs, a treasure hunt, watching a DVD and participating in a Dragon’s Den-style activity.

Many thanks to all of the pupils who participated in the initiative, as well as Grosvenor’s Head of Spanish Mrs Salt whose diligent planning and careful organisation of the event helped to ensure its success.

We now look forward to seeing such initiatives translate into impressive grades come the publication of AS and A2 results this August.
