Antrim 6s Hockey Tournament

Well done to Grosvenor’s Under 18 and Under 15 girls' hockey teams teams, each of which performed commendably at the Antrim Sixes hockey tournament, held at the Antrim Forum at the beginning of May.

The event marked the final ever hockey participation for the school’s Upper Sixth players and, although neither team proved victorious in the end, all of the girls played extremely well against some tough opposition from both opposition clubs and schools, such as the Ulster Elks, Randalstown, Banbridge Academy, Mossley, Kilkeel and Rainey Endowed.

Despite the cold and some gale-force winds an enjoyable day was had by all – well done to all at GGS who performed so well on the day!
