Artemis Hockey Exhibition at Parliament Buildings, Stormont

On Tuesday 27th November Grosvenor Hockey players Chris and Matthew Thomson attended an event in the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, Stormont.

The event was organised by Artemis, a Social Enterprise and Charity established to promote the use of facilities in Belfast Schools whose facilities are managed by Amey; one of these Schools is Grosvenor, where Annadale Juniors train each week.

The event gave Annadale members the opportunity to promote their club, as well as Grosvenor’s facilities, to local politicians and public officials.  Siblings Chris and Matthew did a fantastic job of talking with great enthusiasm and knowledge to all of those who visited their exhibition stand.

Well done to Matthew, this year’s overall Player of the Year at Annadale Juniors, and Chris, who plays for the 3rd XI and coaches at the junior Club, on their efforts at this event - we wish them the best of luck throughout the remainder of the hockey season.
