AS Business Studies and Economics Talk

Many thanks to Gillian Anderson, Deputy Agent for the Bank of England’s Northern Ireland Network, who recently took time out of her busy schedule to visit Grosvenor in order to speak to its Years 13 and 14 Business Studies and Economics students.

Gillian captivated all in attendance as she spoke about the work that the Bank of England carries out in general, as well as her own role in within its Northern Ireland framework. Pupils listened attentively throughout and asked a number of questions in an effort to gain a better understanding of the UK Banking sector.

Once again the School extends its sincerest gratitude to Gillian for taking the trouble to speak with its pupils, while thanks is also due to Grosvenor’s Head of Business Studies and Economics Mrs Hunter-Burns, who co-ordinated events on the day.

Hopefully the success of the day will transfer into positive examination results come the publication of AS and A2 grades next August.
