Asidua Computer Science Scholarship

Congratulations to former Grosvenor pupil Michael Drury who has been awarded a prestigious Computer Science Scholarship with Asidua, a Software Consultancy and Services company headquartered in Belfast.

Michael, who left Grosvenor last year and is currently undertaking a five year MEng in Computer Science at Queen’s, was awarded the scholarship at the end of his first semester at university.  The bursary runs throughout the course of Michael’s degree and entitles him to paid work when he has time off from his course.

Michael will begin his work with Asidua at the end of May after being selected as one of four students, from over 400 students who were eligible to apply, to receive the opportunity.  This year Asidua commented on the quality of the candidates who applied for the scholarship, stating that their knowledge of the industry was stronger than ever.

Michael is understandably excited about starting his work with Asidua as it will provide invaluable experience for him and dramatically increase his opportunities for the future.

All at Grosvenor are extremely proud of Michael’s achievements and wish him the best of luck throughout his time with Asidua.

Michael receives his scholarship from Angela Canavan, COO of Asidua, outside the company's headquarters in Belfast.
