Boys Hockey: 'PK Shutters' sponsorship

The School wishes to extend its thanks to manufacturing business ‘PK Shutters’ (http://www.pkshutters.com/) which has generously sponsored its boys 1st XI hockey team for the coming season.

The sponsorship has been facilitated by parent Mr Michael Holden, and will see the team display the company’s logo on the front of its shirts throughout the year.

The team itself, coached by GGS teachers Mr Young and Mr Brittain, begins its McCullough Cup campaign this weekend (Saturday 30th September) and will compete in a difficult group against such hockey heavyweights as Campbell College, Sullivan Upper, Methodist College Belfast, Cookstown High School and Wallace High School.

The boys have been training well and are determined to try their very best against such strong opposition.

Many thanks to Mr Holden and his family run company for sponsoring the boys this year – we hope such support will translate into positive results on the pitch, and look forward to reporting on the team’s progress throughout the season.
