BPW Public Speaking Competition 2013

On Thursday 21st November Grosvenor pupils Ross Neill (Upper 6th), Hannah Martin and Susannah Ashfield (both Form Five) competed in the annual B.P.W. Public Speaking Competition, held at at Newforge Country Club in South Belfast.

Speaking on the topic of ‘The Human Rights Act’ Ross was partnered with a chairman and expressor of thanks from Omagh Academy whilst Hannah and Susannah were partnered with a speaker from the eventually victorious R.B.A.I.

Although the Grosvenor team was ultimately unsuccessful they spoke extremely well and were commended by the adjudication panel.  Well done to Ross, Hannah and Susannah on their impressive performances on the night and we wish them well with their further Public Speaking endeavours over the remainder of the year.
