‘Cancer Focus’ Charity Donation

On the morning of Thursday 3rd April Grosvenor was delighted to present a cheque for £250 to ‘Cancer Focus Northern Ireland’, following a whole-School charity collection conducted just prior to Christmas.

‘Cancer Focus’, the new name for the ‘Ulster Cancer Foundation’, is based in Eglantine Avenue and provides support to individuals affected by Cancer, as well their families.

Grosvenor was delighted to welcome Rachel Smith, Family Service Co-ordinator within ‘Cancer Focus’, to speak to its second form at the end of 2014, and on Thursday 3rd April Suzi McIlwain, ‘Community Fundraising Officer’ at Cancer Focus, visited the School to proudly receive its generous donation.

Well done to all within Grosvenor who gave generously to help raise money for ‘Cancer Focus’ - the School now looks forward to maintaining its link with the organisation over the years to come.
