Congratulations to a number of Grosvenor pupils who were recently announced by CCEA as having placed within the top three candidates in Northern Ireland in selected subjects at GCSE and GCE (A Level) during the summer 2017 public examinations.

At GCSE Level Patrick Gordon excelled in Single Award Science, achieving a UMS score of 388.20 out of a possible 400 to achieve third place overall n Northern Ireland, under the tutelage of Mrs Jane Corken.

In addition Hannah Blair, last year’s Deputy Head Girl, attained second place in A2 Sports Science, under the direction of Mr Andrew Gibson, with on overall score of 385 out of 400, while Michael Dunwoody, also from last year’s Year Fourteen, was placed third in GCE German, with the assistance of his teacher Mrs Fiona Dorman, with a UMS score of 386 out of 400.

Well done to Grosvenor’s terrific triumvirate of elite performers from last summer’s public examinations; we wish the best of luck to Patrick as he now pursues his A Level studies, as well as Hannah and Michael in their further education beyond Grosvenor.

Hopefully August 2018 will bring further examination success to Grosvenor.
