‘Celebrate with CCEA’ Awards Ceremony 2016

Congratulations to Grosvenor pupil Claire Sullivan, form five, who was recently invited to the prestigious ‘Celebrate with CCEA’ awards ceremony, held at Titanic Belfast on 7th April 2016.

Claire was receiving her award for coming top in Learning for Life and Work in the GCSE examinations in Northern Ireland in June 2015, under the tutelage of Mr White, a feat made all the more impressive given that she was still only in Form Four at the time of sitting the paper.

In addition to Claire’s success last summer, Ethan Kee was placed second in GCSE Physics with the help of Mrs Watt and Michael Culbert finished second in GCSE Biology with the assistance of Mrs Auld, while at A level Matthew Carson placed third in Spanish with the help of Mrs Salt and David Thompson finished first in Mathematics and joint third in Further Mathematics under the direction from his teachers Mrs Erwin, Miss Lavery, Dr Stevenson and Ms Seaton.

Well done to Claire and her peers on their incredible achievements and we look forward to celebrating further academic success within the school upon the publication of GCSE, AS and A2 examination results this August.
