Christmas Jumper Day 2017

Congratulations to the pupils of Grosvenor who helped to raise an impressive £190 for the Simon Community following its Christmas Jumper Day, held this year on Wednesday 13th December.

The event saw pupils from all year groups within the School pay £1 to wear Christmas jumpers for the day and, with the event taking place on the same day as the DIning Centre’s ever in-demand Christmas Dinner, it served to create a particularly festive atmosphere throughout the school.

This year’s initiative is the latest in a number of charity-related endeavours that have taken place within the School this year, with the whole-school target of £12000 for the current academic year firmly within sight.

Well done to all of the pupils who helped to raise money on the day, as well as the school’s Charity co-ordinators Mrs McClelland and Ms Gray who worked diligently to successfully organise and coordinate the event.

We look forward to reading about further charity-related ventures within GGS over the remainder of the year.

Year Eight and Nine pupils participarte enthusiastically in the School's Christmas Jumper Day on Wednesday 13th December.
