CREST Awards Scheme

Congratulations to Grosvenor’s Technology and Design department which recently helped an incredible 486 pupils in junior school to achieve the prestigious CREST Award.

The accreditation, awarded by CREST through Sentinus, the home of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) enrichment and enhancement activities for schools in Northern Ireland, saw every pupil in Forms 1-3 attain either a bronze or silver standard based on their ‘Design and Make’ activities, which took the form a range of projects carried out within each of the relevant year groups.

Well done to each of the School’s pupils who attained this success, as well as Head of Department Mr Sammy Taggart and fellow T&D teacher Mrs Janine Black, without whose help and instruction this incredible achievement would not have been possible.
