On the afternoon of Friday 2nd February Grosvenor pupils Sarah Brown,10N; Max Anderson, 9G; James McAleese, 11R; Andrei Seceleanu, 13TG2; Rachel Simpson, 14 TG2 and Megan Ashfield, 8S, were given the opportunity to visit Hillmount Garden Centre, accompanied by vice-principal Mr Brunt.

The purpose of the excursion was to seek out ideas and support available in relation to improving the School environment. Mr Mercer, Manager of Hillmount, provided GGS’s visiting contingent with a tour and helped students plan for School improvements to the raised beds, biodiversity, animal habitat and a new wild garden.

The afternoon proved extremely worthwhile and the School is most grateful to everybody at Hillmount for facilitating the trip.
