eye4education ‘Energising Careers Days’

On Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th June over three hundred pupils in forms two and four took part in a pair of Careers days within the school, run by Darren Nixon and Ted Jensen from educational consultancy ‘eye4education’.

All the activities on each day were designed to be fun, competitive and engaging. Pupils took part in a number of activities such as learning the 4Ps of marketing, Dragons’ Den, building towers with spaghetti and marshmallows, business challenges and launching rockets. One team even created a new ‘world’ record by launching their rocket eight feet in the air!

A number of awards and prizes were given out at the end of each day in recognition of the achievements of various individuals and groups. Many thanks to ‘eye 4education’ for delivering these most worthwhile events, as well as Grosvenor’s Head of Careers Mrs Fiona Brown who was instrumental in organising and coordinating them; both days proved highly popular with the pupils and the School looks forward to hosting many similar events again in the future.
