Form One Litter Pick

On the morning of Friday 27th June a number of Grosvenor’s Form One pupils took to the Castlereagh Road and surrounding area to participate in a litter pick, in accordance with Belfast City Council’s ‘Big Spring Clean’ initiative.

The pupils walked from School to the Castlreagh Road, to the bus stops and back via Warren’s news agency. All of the pupils were very keen to get involved in helping clean up the local community and collected general waste and recyclable materials. The pupils were all very enthusiastic volunteers and look forward to participating in similar events again before long.

Many thanks to teachers Mrs Reid and Miss Byers, without whose supervision and guidance this most worthwhile initiative could not have taken place.
