Form One Netball Success

Congratulations to Grosvenor’s Form One ‘A’ and ‘B’ Netball teams, each of whom achieved qualification for the final of the Belfast League following a series of impressive victories prior to Easter.

The ‘A’ team secured victory in each of their section matches, over Dominican College (17-1), St Dominic’s (20-0), B.R.A. (13-3), Bloomfield Collegiate (18-5) and Aquinas Grammar (14-8) to book their place in the upcoming final where they are due to face Rathmore Grammar School.

In the ‘B’ section, meanwhile, Grosvenor’s team again won all of the matches in their group, with wins over Dominican College (7-1), B.R.A. (3-0) and Aquinas (6-0) earning them a place in the semi-final where they overcame Rathmore Grammar School by a score of 6-3.  The team will now face St. Genevieve’s in the final, which is due to be played in early May.

Well done to both teams, as well as their coach Mrs Karen Kirk, on their success throughout the season so far and we all hope that they can go one step further in their respective finals.
