GCSE and A Level Drama Trip – ‘Macbeth’

On Wednesday 6th March Grosvenor’s Drama Department made the journey to Belfast’s Grand Opera House, where seventeen GCSE and A Level students attended the National Theatre's much-heralded production of William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'.

The performance was an innovative interpretation of Shakespeare's classic, set in a Post-Apocalyptic world of mercenaries. All of the students in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and they will now be required to analyse the performance in their upcoming examinations this summer.

Many thanks to GGS Drama teacher Mrs Young for organisation such a worthwhile trip; hopefully the pupils' positive experience will translate into impressive grades come the publication of examination results this August.
