GCSE Examination Results 2016

Grosvenor pupils were celebrating one of the best set of GCSE results in the school’s history following their publication on the morning of Thursday 25th August: three pupils – Rachel Simpson, Claire Sullivan and Rebekah Wilson - achieved an outstanding 11 A* grades while a fantastic total of forty-two pupils gained 9 A* to A grades or better.

These statistics make superb reading for the school as a whole, with a ‘best ever’ total of 99.4% of pupils achieving 5 A* to C grades.  A hugely impressive 97.5% of Grosvenor pupils also achieved 7 A* to C grades.

Dr. Vasey was absolutely delighted with the results, commenting: "I wish to congratulate our pupils for achieving such outstanding results and I commend them for their hard work and dedication to their studies. Likewise these results are only possible because of the expertise and care shown by our staff who work tirelessly to ensure that pupils reach their full potential.  I also thank our parents for their support and look forward to celebrating further success with our pupils in the future.  This is a proud day for Grosvenor Grammar School and it is wonderful to see hard work rewarded in such a striking manner."
