GCSE Examination Success

Following the fantastic success of A Level pupils earlier in the month, Grosvenor Grammar School’s Form 5 pupils were celebrating their achievements in their GCSE examinations at the end of August. 96% of pupils obtained 7 A*-C grades, 25 pupils achieved an impressive 10 A*-A grades and 44 pupils achieved 8 A*-A grades. Top performers Ross Neill and Rebecca Blair gained 20 A* grades and 4 A grades between them. Rebecca commented, “I am absolutely delighted with my results – they exceed my wildest expectations and reflect the effort and dedication of my teachers, who have helped me so much over the past two years.  All the hard work has paid off!”

Principal Robin McLoughlin was delighted with the results. “It is always a pleasure to see young people rewarded for their hard work and effort throughout the two years of GCSE and I am delighted to congratulate Form 5 pupils today. As ever, these results reflect the invaluable support of parents, the dedication of teachers and the commitment of pupils to their studies. Well done!”
