Girls’ Netball – Under 13 Belfast ‘Regional Development Academy’ selection

Congratulations to Grosvenor netballers Amy Grant and Anna Ferris, both Form Two, each of whom were recently selected onto the highly prestigious Under 13 Belfast Regional Development Academy.

Amy and Anna’s selection to this prestigious squad comes following trials held at Lisburn Racquets Club on Friday 20th November, from which 53 initial hopefuls from forms one and two were whittled down to a final section of just 20.

The squad’s first training session will take place on Friday 11th December, with further sessions taking place once a month through until the end of May, all in preparation for the end-of-season Northern Ireland Schools’ Tournament, where it will compete against rival regions from across the province.

Well done to Amy and Anna, as well as their coach – Grosvenor’s Head of Girls’ P.E. Mrs Lynda McIlvenny, on their selection to this most elite panel; we wish them the best of luck in their netball-related endeavours throughout the remainder of the season.
