Girls' Hockey - Senior Schools’ Cup Success!

Congratulations to Grosvenor’s 1st XI girls’ hockey team which secured an outstanding 5-0 victory over Hunterhouse College in the first round of the Girls’ Senior Schools’ Cup on the morning of Saturday 21st November.

During an impressive performance Grosvenor were dominant in all areas of the pitch and played superbly throughout the first half to take a 2-0 lead into half-time, thanks to strikes from Jess Sayer and Hannah Murphey.

The second half proved no different as Grosvenor continued their impressive display, with further goals from Lois Hagen, Annie McKirgan and Bella Robinson helping them to an eventual, impressive winning margin of 5-0.

Well done to the team which performed so well on the day, led by Captain Abbey Walker and coached by P.E. teacher Miss Knipe, The girls now look forward to a second round encounter against Limavady Grammar School – all within the Grosvenor school community wish them the best of luck
