'Love for Life' 2017

On Wednesday 6th December Grosvenor’s Learning for Life and Work department welcomed the independent charity ‘Love for Life’ to its William Moles Hall where its representatives Heather Joy Wallace (former GGS pupil) and her colleague Phil delivered its ‘Sex Drive’ workshop to all pupils in years Thirteen and Fourteen.

The session dealt with issues pertinent to pupils of senior school age, all of which were discussed in an interactive forum related to relationships and sex education.

In the afternoon it was the turn of year eleven who received much of the same content in a manner tailored to their age-group and, as with pupils in years thirteen and fourteen, found the event extremely informative and worthwhile.

Many thanks to ‘Love for Life’ for taking the time to visit the school once again, as well as Grosvenor’s Head of LLW Mrs Karen Kirk who organised and coordinated the entire day.

We look forward to welcoming ‘Love for Life’ back to the school again before long.
