‘Love for Life’ Form Four Workshop

On Monday 16th June Grosvenor’s Learning for Life and Work department welcomed representatives from the independent charity ‘Love for Life’ to deliver a series of workshops to its Form Four pupils, focusing on the dangers of damaging behaviours including drugs, alcohol and underage sex.

‘Love for Life’ employees Graham and Hannah presented, through a multimedia presentation, a session focusing on 'Relationships and Sexuality Education', dealing with such issues as the pressures faced by young people, the consequences of sexual relationships, and pregnancy.

The programme was delivered over two sessions as the year group was divided in half, with form classes G,R and S attending in the morning, followed by V, E and N in the afternoon.

The event was received extremely positively by all pupils in attendance and the School extends its gratitude to ‘Love for Life’ for communicating such a strong message of responsibility and culpability.  Many thanks also to Grosvenor’s Head of LLW Mr Andrew Gibson, whose careful coordination of the day helped to make it possible
