‘#loveyourgreenway’ event.
On Friday 9th February Grosvenor Senior Teacher Mrs Fox joined pupils from Grosvenor’s Environment Committee as they took part in a highly worthwhile ‘#loveyourgreenway’ event.
Pupils planted three different types of new tree and undertook a litter pick along the Connswater Community Greenway, doing their bit to help improve the appearance of Orangefield Park as well as the Marsh-wiggle Way.
Making the day even more worthwhile, all pupils in attendance were graciously provided with goody bags at the climax of the event, providing the perfect conclusion to a most enjoyable and worthwhile day.
We look forward to following the further endeavors of the School’s Environment Committee over the remainder of the academic year.
