Oxbridge Trip 2013

On Tuesday 9th April thirteen Grosvenor pupils in Lower 6th, accompanied by Dr Vasey and Mr Wilson, embarked on the annual trip to Oxford and Cambridge Universities to familiarise themselves with the Colleges to which they wish to apply next year.

The trip, which ran until Saturday 13th April, saw the School’s contingent reside at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge for the first two days, followed by Oxford University’s Brasenose College.

During the trip highlights included visits to selected colleges, such as King’s College, Cambridge, and St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, as well as punting in Cambridge’s River Cam.

The trip provided the ideal opportunity for Grosvenor’s hopeful Oxbridge applicants to speak to current students regarding their own experience of their respective colleges, as well as members of staff who were able to furnish them with practical information regarding the application process, accommodation and fees.

All at Grosvenor wish those pupils who made the trip the best of luck with their university applications next year.
