Q.U.B. and U.U.J. Open Days

At the beginning of September each of Grosvenor’s pupils in Upper 6th were afforded the opportunity to visit either Queen’s University or University of Ulster at Jordanstown as both institutions held their annual Open Days for prospective students.

During the course of the day pupils had the chance to visit departments and faculties, attend lectures, meet students as well as lecturers and drink plenty of coffee!

With the current situation regarding tuition fees leading to many more pupils now studying at home for their University education, these Open Days proved highly valuable in providing a snapshot of life at tertiary level.

We now wish each of the pupils in Grosvenor’s Upper 6th the best of luck as they embark on the task of completing their UCAS forms and applying for universities over the coming months.

Jamie McMullan (Upper 6th) and Mrs Denvir-Watson enjoy their visit to U.U.J. on Thursday 5th September
