Q.U.B. 'Sports Taster' session

On Wednesday 9th March 25 female members of Grosvenor’s Form One received the opportunity to attend a highly worthwhile ‘Sports Taster Session', held at the playing fields of Queen's University.

The event, which also featured pupils from Aquinas Grammar School, St. Dominic’s Grammar, Lagan College and Victoria College, saw Grosvenor’s representatives participate in a range of activities, including hockey, rugby, gaelic football and camogie.

The day proved highly worthwhile and enjoyable and will hopefully have helped to further develop the girls’ interest in each of the sports on offer. Many thanks to P.E. teacher Mrs Hunter who accompanied the girls on the day, as well as the organisers of the event at Q.U.B. who helped to ensure that it ran so smoothly.

We look forward to following the fortunes of GGS’s sportswomen, in both Form One and above, over the remainder of the year.
