S.U. 'Far From Perfect' Event

On the afternoon of Tuesday 16th October Grosvenor’s highly popular Scripture Union staged the successful ‘Far From Perfect’ Event for pupils throughout the School.

Organised by the S.U’s 6th Form Committee, the afternoon began with ice-breakers ‘What Happens Next?’ and ‘The Cinnamon Challenge’ followed by an entertaining and symbolic mime, performed against background music.

The centrepiece of the afternoon was a much anticipated interview with Grosvenor’s very own international sportsman Mr Andrew White, who spoke about his experiences whilst playing cricket for Ireland around the globe, before the afternoon was rounded off with a series of worship songs followed by refreshments in the Dining Centre.

Many thanks to the 6th Form Committee whose careful organization and planning helped to make the afternoon such a success, as well as staff members Mr Johnny Young and Miss Janine Semple whose attendance made the event possible.

With over 150 pupils in attendance the event proved highly successful and we look forward to many more such events from the S.U. throughout the year.
