Scripture Union Christmas Party 2013

On the evening of Monday 9th December Grosvenor’s Scripture Union staged its annual Christmas Party in the William Moles Hall as over 40 pupils in forms one to Upper 6th participated in a range of festive activities.

The event, organised by Upper 6th pupil Joshua Martin with the assistance of fellow pupils Claire Todd, Catherine Brown, Ben Jackson and Rachel Cullen, saw those in attendance participate in a variety of games, such as balloon relay races and party games, for the opening hour before being treated to a plethora of tasty snacks, courtesy of Mrs Caulfield and Mrs Sweeney, in the Home Economics Department.

The event rounded off with an engaging epilogue from Rebekah Lamont on the meaning of Christmas to her, which provided the perfect conclusion to an enjoyable, informative and highly worthwhile evening of activity and worship.

Many thanks to those members of the 6th Form S.U. committee whose organization helped to make the event such a success, as well as the aforementioned staff members Mrs Caulfield and Mrs Sweeney, alongside their colleagues Mr Young, Miss Semple and Mr Cowan, without whose attendance the evening could not have taken place.

We look forward to hearing about many more S.U. activities and events over the remainder of the year.
