Scripture Union Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’

On Tuesday 15th March Grosvenor's ever-active Scripture Union held a highly successful event in the Lecture Dance Studio, with in excess of seventy pupils from forms 1 – Upper 6th congregating at its seasonal-themed ‘Easter Eggstravaganza’.

The event featured an entertaining game of egg-roulette as well as an Easter Egg Hunt around the William Moles Hall, while Dom Griffiths, a church-intern from Blackpool, was also present to speak about the real meaning of Easter and about finding a real purpose in life.

This was another new event for Scripture Union and proved highly popular with all in attendance, especially as there were plenty of Easter eggs and prizes up for grabs!

Many thanks to Grosvenor’s Sixth Form Scripture Union committee. led by President Hannah Martin, who have been extremely proactive throughout the year and succeeded in organising yet another highly successful event this time around.

We look forward to reading about further events within the S.U. programme over the remainder of the year.

Alex Cullen, Upper Sixth, competes in a keenly contested game of 'Egg Roulette' at the recent S.U. 'Easter Eggstravaganza'.
