Scripture Union 'Shine' event

The afternoon of Tuesday 28th November saw Grosvenor’s Scripture Union host its annual ‘Shine’ event in the Senior School Common Room as its Year Fourteen student committee opened up its ‘Crepe Café’ to in excess of one hundred pupils from all year groups throughout the school.

Head Boy Aaron Harrison and Deputy Head Boy Dan Whitcroft showcased their culinary skills by churning out crepes at an incredible rate on two crepe machines, ably assisted by an army of chocolate spreading, marshmallow-feeding members of the SU committee!

Speaker on the day was S.U. East Belfast Schools’ Worker Lindsey Miles, who engaged all in attendance whilst enthusiastically sharing her testimony.

Many thanks to Grosvenor’s S.U. Committee, as well as staff members Mrs Caulfield, Mrs Buchanan, Dr. Stevenson and Mr Young who supervised on the day – we look forward to reporting on many further Scripture Union events over the remainder of the year.

Grosvenor pupils enjoy themselves at the S.U's 'Shine' event on the afternoon of Tuesday 28th November.
