Senior School ‘Project Trust’ visitation

On Wednesday 19th September Grosvenor’s Senior School welcomed Rachel Cuddy, from the global educational charity ‘Project Trust’, to the School’s William Moles Hall where she spoke to its Year Thirteen and Fourteen pupils about the volunteering opportunities available with the organisation.

Rachel, Project Trust’s Schools’ Co-ordinator, spoke to the pupils about the application process for those wishing to volunteer abroad, possible destinations for such projects, details of the kinds of projects with which the organisation is currently involved and information on what to expect from the typical 8-9 month volunteering experience which most individuals engage in.

Rachel’s talk met with an extremely positive response from the GGS pupils present and, following the conclusion of her presentation, a steady stream of students queued patiently to speak to her in more detail about potentially applying for projects next year.

Many thanks to Rachel for making the time in her busy schedule to visit Grosvenor  and we hope to hear of many pupils volunteering with the organisation next year and beyond.
