Sixth Form General Studies – ‘Love For Life’ session

On the morning of Wednesday 30th September Grosvenor’s Sixth Form welcomed independent charity ‘Love for Life’ to the William Moles Hall where its representatives Heather and Jonny, both former Grosvenor pupils, delivered the organisation’s ‘Sex Drive’ programme to all members of Lower and Upper Sixth.

The session ran for three periods between break and lunch and provided all pupils present with vital facts, statistics and scenarios designed to provide them with the information required to make informed, healthy life choices relating to the issues of relationships and sexuality.

‘Love for Life’ believes that young people can choose to avoid damaging behaviours, including alcohol, drugs and underage sex, when adequately supported and equipped to do so and delivers programmes to over 30,000 young people across Ireland each year.

The session recently delivered to Grosvenor’s Sixth Formers certainly met with an extremely positive reception and the school now looks forward to welcoming the organization back through its doors again before long.
