Sixth Form General Studies - RAF visit

On Wednesday 14th October Grosvenor’s Sixth Form welcomed Daryl, a recruitment officer from the R.A.F., to its weekly General Studies period where he spoke to all members of both Lower and Upper Sixth regarding career opportunities within the organization.

Daryl provided those present with useful information regarding training opportunities, career pathways, potential grants available and the overall skills which the R.A.F. is looking for within its recruits.

In addition Grosvenor’s own Mrs Sweeney added to the content of Daryl’s talk by speaking of her own brother and nephew, both of whom have forged successful careers within the R.A.F.

Many thanks to Daryl for taking the opportunity to visit the school to speak to its Sixth Form pupils and we look forward to welcoming further speakers, from various other organisations, in to enlighten the pupils over the remainder of the year.
