Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition 2013

On the evening of Wednesday 27th November Grosvenor pupils Susannah Ashfield, Hannah Martin, Sophie Coffey (all Form Five) and Eve McLelland (Lower 6th) made the trip to The Pavilion, Stormont, to compete at the Belfast regional heat of the annual Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition.

Speaking on the topic “World Hunger would end if …” Hannah was awarded the runners-up position whilst the School’s other three competitors were also highly commended by the judges. Many thanks to Mrs Sullivan who also attended the event and helped the girls in their preparation for it.
