Ulster Bank Schools’ Cup Cricket Draw

At the draw made for the opening round of the Ulster Bank Schools’ Cup 2013 Grosvenor’s 1st XI, holders of the competition following victory over Coleraine Academical Institution in last year’s final, were delighted to received a home draw, with their opposition coming in the form of Ballymena Academy.

Elsewhere Campbell College will host Methodist College whilst other highlights of the round include Foyle College taking on Limavady Grammar School and Bangor Grammar School visiting B.R.A.

The draw for the first round of this year’s competition was attended by Grosvenor's Head of Sports Studies and former Irish international Mr Kyle McCallan, who has led the development of cricket within the school over the past decade.

All at Grosvenor wait with anticipation for the commencement of another busy and, hopefully, successful cricket season in April.

Grosvenor's 1st XI will begin the defence of its Schools' Cup title with a home fixture against Ballymena Academy in April.
