Ulster Schools Table Tennis Championships 2018

Congratulations to Grosvenor’s talented table tennis performers who enjoyed another hugely successful day at the Ulster Schools' Table Tennis Individual Championships, held at Lisburn Racqeuts Club on Wednesday 18th April.

Standout performances on the day came from Lucy Johnston, who was victorious in the Under 16 girls category winner and is now the Under 16 Girls Ulster Champion, Lucy Craig, who was unfortunate to lose in the final of the Under 19 girls category and is now ranked 2nd in Ulster at Under 19 level, and James Magrath, who finished an impressive third in the Under 19 boys competition.

Well done to Lucy, Lucy and James on their excellent performances, as well as a number of other GGS pupils who, despite not quite making it to the podium, still performed admirably on the day – a full list of Grosvenor’s competitors can be found below.

Finally, many thanks to Grosvenor’s Teacher in Charge of Table Tennis Mrs Peel, who accompanied all of its competitors on the day and has run the ever-popular GGS after-school table tennis club throughout the year.
