Urban Ecologists and Environment Forum’s visit to Lisnasharragh Primary School

On Monday 20th March a group of pupils from Grosvenor’s Urban Ecologists and the Environment Forum, accompanied by supervising teacher Mrs Reid, paid a highly educational and worthwhile visit to a local eco-school, Lisnasharragh Primary.

During their visit the pupils were afforded the opportunity to meet the School’s Eco co-ordinator, Mrs McCleery, before setting to work in their Eco garden, helping to make a ‘bug hotel’ out of old wooden pallets before clearing their raised beds in order to make them ready for planting.

We thank Lisnasharagh Primary for providing our pupils with access to its Eco garden for the day and look forward to developing more links with our local primary schools in the near future.
