World Police and Fire Games 2013

Congratulations to Grosvenor pupil Alexandria McClune who has been selected as a ‘Games Ambassador’ for the upcoming ‘World Police and Fire Games’ 2013.

Alexandria’s involvement at the Games comes after a vigorous application and interview process in which she was chosen from amongst hundreds of hopefuls to help promote the event.  The role of ‘Games Ambassador’ will see a number of volunteers serve as the ‘faces of the Games’, during which they will be responsible for the registration of athletes, providing information about the Games at a number of its different venues and attending  both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.  In addition Alexandria's involvement has seen her obtain a ‘World Host’ certificate while she has also been introduced to the ‘Millennium Volunteers’ initiative.

Well done to Alexandria on her outstanding achievement and all at Grosvenor wish her the best of luck in her role throughout the duration of the event.
