Wyndham High School Visit

On Wednesday 19th February Grosvenor welcomed the touring Wyhdham High School, from Norwich, to its pitches as its Under 13 XV took on the visitors in a highly competitive encounter.

Following a fiercely contested match, Wyndham High School ran out eventual winners by 38 points to 14, earning a deserved victory with some aggressive and skilful play.

Perhaps the highlight of the day came following the conclusion of the match, however, when Ulster players Craig Gilroy and David McIlwaine, each of whom have a connection with the Wyndham coach, paid a visit to meet and talk to the players involved.

In all the day proved highly worthwhile and provided more valuable match time for the School’s Under 13s.  Many thanks to Wyndham High School for making the trip, as well as Grosvenor’s Mr Andrew Gibson, who presided over the match.
