Years Nine and Eleven ‘eye4education’ Careers Days

On Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st June over three hundred pupils in Years Nine and Eleven took part in two highly worthwhile Careers days, run by the educational consultancy company ‘eye4education’, in the John Lockett Sports Hall.

All the activities throughout both days were designed to be fun, promote the engagement of the pupils and be competitive. Pupils took part in a number of activities such as learning the ‘4Ps’ of marketing, Dragons’ Den, building towers with spaghetti and marshmallows, business challenges and launching rockets. One team even created a new “world” record by launching their rocket eight feet in the air!

A number of awards and prizes were also given out at the end of each day, to a range of very worthwhile and grateful winners.

Many thanks to Darren Nixon and Ted Jensen, from ‘Eye4Education’, for organising two such well-received and informative days, as well as Grosvenor’s Head of CEIAG, Mrs Browne, who co-ordinated each event.

We look forward to welcoming ‘Eye4Education’ back to Grosvenor again in the near future.
