‘Young Enterprise Entrepreneurship Masterclass’

On Thursday 13th December a select group of twelve Year Ten pupils made the short journey to ‘Our Lady and St. Patrick’s College, Knock’ where they attended a most engaging ‘Young Enterprise Entrepreneurship Masterclass’.

The pupils were placed into groups with young people from other schools and engaged in numerous business-themed tasks, with the core aim of creating a technically advanced product that would assist a section of society. Pupils were also able to experience the latest examples of modern interactive technology, such as VR headsets and touch-activated software.

All those who took part received a Certificate of Achievement from ‘Young Enterprise NI’, making the entire experience a highly worthwhile one. Many thanks to ‘Young Enterprise NI’ for running such a beneficial workshop, ‘Our Lady and St. Patrick’s College’ for hosting the event, Grosvenor’s Head of CEIAG Mrs Rea for coordinating the School’s participation within it, as well as GGS Business Studies and Economics teacher Mr Johnston who accompanied the School’s pupil delegation on the day.
