Overview
Learning for Life and Work is split into three modules:
Local & Global Citizenship
Personal Development
Employability
Aims
to helps students develop as individuals and members of society
to deliver the skills and capabilities needed for adult life and work
to help all pupils cope with the changing global economy
to help pupils learn how to make informed choices
Key Stage 3
Pupils follow the KS3 (CCEA Statutory Curriculum)
In Years 8, 9 and 10, pupils study elements of each of the three areas of Local & Global Citizenship, Personal Development and Employability.
Key Stage 4
In Year 11 and Year 12 pupils can take a GCSE in Learning for Life and Work (CCEA Specification).
All pupils who do not select LLW as a GCSE choice will follow the Key Stage 4 CCEA Statutory Curriculum.
