Belfast Schools’ Under 15 Hockey Squad Selection

Congratulations to Grosvenor hockey players Jenna Breen, Meg Lowry and Eva Wainwright, each of whom were recently selected to represent the Belfast Schools’ Under 15 squad following trials held at Deramore Park earlier in the season.
Forward Jenna and Goalkeeper Meg, both Year Eleven, along with defender Eva, Year Nine, were selected onto the sixteen person squad following a rigorous selection process, and have attended three follow-up practice sessions, also at Deramore, as a result, in preparation for an inter-regional tournament in which they will participate at the end of March.
Well done to all three players, along with their respective GGS coaches Mrs Murdock, Miss Knox and Mrs Kirk, on their selection to this prestigious squad; we wish them the best of luck at the upcoming regional tournament as well as in all of their future hockey-related endeavours with Grosvenor.
