DSAuk National Dwarf Games 2022

Congratulations to Grosvenor pupil Jonathan McLaughlin, Year 12, who recently enjoyed incredible success at the DSAuk National Dwarf Games 2022.

The games, held in Wolverhampton from 29th April – 2nd May, saw Jonny claim a hat-trick of gold medals: in the 60 metre print, javelin and shot put, as well as two silver medals: in the 100 metre sprint and 4 x 100 metres relay.

The event, featuring 186 competitors from across the U.K., provides an opportunitiy for young people with dwarfism to compete in a range of sports, such as powerlifting, athletics, cycling, shooting and swimming, amongst others, and always proves highly popular and worthwhile.
