Inter-Form Cross Country

Congratulations to a number of Grosvenor’s talented female cross country runners who performed commendably during a series of Inter-Form races, held at the beginning of November.

In Year 8, the podium was monopolised by pupils from 8S, with Ellie Hollywood securing gold, followed by Chloe McIlhagga and Darcey Kelly. Unsurprisingly, the Year 8 team event was also dominated by 8S, who topped the placings with 176 points, followed by 8G and 8R.

In Year 9, Anna Price, 9S, claimed first place, followed closely home by Lexie Duncan, 9N, and Victoria Mitchell, 9R. In the team event, 9R led the standings with 159 points, followed by 9S and 9G

In Year 10, meanwhile, 10S’s Martha Orr performed superbly to cross the finish line in first place, followed by Elidh Wood and Kitty Jordan, both 10R. In the team standings, 10S led the way with 285 points, followed by 10V and 10N.

Finally, in Year 11 Erin Cross produced an excellent performance to lead the competitors home in the individual race, with Liberty Molly, 11S, claiming silver and Lucy Storey, 11V, the bronze. In the team contest, 11V secured first place with 147 points, followed by 11N and 11S.

Well done to everyone who competed so well in these races, and especially to the winning individuals and teams, whose victories are to be lauded.
