Netball - N.I. Under 21 Captaincy

Congratulations to Grosvenor Head Girl Erin Young, who was recently selected as captain of the Northern Ireland Under 21 Netball Team.

Erin’s fantastic achievement is made all the more impressive by the fact that, at 18 years of age, she is one of the youngest members of the current squad.

Erin, who plays Goal Defence (GD), captained the team in a series of matches, held at Antrim Forum over the weekend of Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th January, against a ‘British Colleges Select’ squad. Erin will now aim to build on this success by securing her place in the squad for the European Championships, which are due to take place in October.
