Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission presentation

On Wednesday 29th January Grosvenor ‘s Year Ten welcomed Zara and Jason, representatives from the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission, to its morning assembly as they delivered an informative presentation on the work of the organisation within Northern Ireland, as well as some of the recent work that they have been carrying out with businesses and sport across the province.

One of the roles of the NIHRC is to educate and raise awareness and so they were invited into school by Mrs Kirk, Grosvenor’s Head of Learning for Life and Work, to inform the pupils of the work carried out by NIHRC as this is on the GCSE specification for LLW in the Local & Global Citizenship module.

Many thanks to Zara and Jason for taking time to vist Grosvenor and deliver such a worthwhile presentation.
