UEFA Women’s Under 19 Championships

Congratulations to Grosvenor footballer Grace McKimm, Year 14, who was recently selected to represent Northern Ireland at the UEFA Women’s Under 19 Championships, due to be held in Limerick from 18th – 26th October.

Grace, who has played her club football for Cliftonville F.C. since March, having previously represented Linfield, and plays at either left back or in left midfield, has been a part of the Northern Ireland training set-up since the age of 15. Grace secured her selection for the upcoming Euros following a training camp in Wales during September, and since then has been training regularly in Jordanstown, in preparation for the championships.

Northern Ireland are due to take on Switzerland on 20th October, England on 23rd and the Republic of Ireland on 26th – all at Grosvenor wish Grace the best of luck for these matches and will keep our fingers crossed for some positive results!
