PwC immersive Empowerment Event

Congratulations to Ben Watson, Year 14, who was recently invited to attend an immersive empowerment event, run by PwC alongside the Mary Peters Trust.

 As a Mary Peters Trust athlete, Irish international Ben was selected to attend the event by Table Tennis Ulster.

The event, held at PwC’s Merchant Square office, was aimed at young athletes who are currently considering their future careers paths.

The specially designed programme saw Ben afforded the opportunity to engage with some of the top players in the areas of communications, personal branding, financial literacy and wellbeing. In addition, he also got the chance to meet with Lady Mary Peters herself, receiving a copy of her recently published book ‘Mary Peters: My Story’.

Well done to Ben on his invitation to such a prestigious, worthwhile event. It will no doubt serve as a fantastic springboard for him as he considers his many careers-related options moving forward.
